Kanye West & Amber Rose Serve The Homeless

Outspoken Chicago rapper Kanye West is known for his arrogant persona and for speaking his mind, but this past Saturday (December 26), he put himself aside to help serve food to homeless people in Los Angeles.

Kanye West and his girlfriend Amber Rose showed up and put themselves straight to work and it was a pleasant surprise for the homeless.

"It's just important to give back when you're very blessed, It's nice to spread your blessings and take time out, especially during the holidays to appreciate people who never get that appreciation. It makes me feel really good to come out here, with my family, and I just thank ya'll [the Los Angeles Mission] for allowing us to be a part of this."

The Los Angeles Mission is located in L.A.'s downtown Skid Row district and not only serves food to the homeless but also offers employment, transitional services, and rehabilitation and has been doing do for over 70 years.

The Christmas spirit certainly has touched a number of rappers and they've made numerous efforts to impact their communities.
