Presents Fall Fun Fest
Oklahoma City, OK – Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) is hosting their annual CLC Fall Fun Fest on Thursday, September 2nd at their location on 3707 S. Blackwelder Ave. in Oklahoma City from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. No cost for admission. Parking will be located on the corner of SW 37th & Blackwelder in the Asbury United Methodist parking lot. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This is a family friendly event which will include free hamburgers and hotdogs for the whole family, along with arts and crafts from Junior League of Oklahoma City and many games and prizes for children of all ages. Free books will also be distributed to children. The Oklahoma City Fire Station #9 will be onsite with a fire truck for children to tour, as well as the Oklahoma City Thunder Bus.
Other organizations involved in the CLC Fun Fest include Cox Communications, Feed the Children, Asbury United Methodist Church, Oklahoma City First Nazarene Church, Arvest Bank,
Lt. Governor Jari Askin’s Office, Schwab Meat Co., Lopez Foods, Smart Start and Half Price books.
If you are interested in volunteering at this event, please contact the CLC offices at (405) 524-7323. Community Literacy Centers, Inc. (CLC) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to teaching adults to read. Since its inception, CLC has helped over 28,000 individuals.
